Holley Performance Events Are Worth Attending!

 

As an engine builder, we try to attend multiple events each year to get out and meet the people we sell our engine packages to and spread the word about our company and services. Holley’s LS Fest and Ford Fest did not disappoint! LS Fest September 9-11, 2022 and Ford FestSeptember 29 - October 2, 2022 Both events held at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, KY.

This year we got to meet a lot of great people! The racing, drifting, car show and off-road events did not disappoint. If you are into the smell of burning rubber, race gas and watching some of the best drivers around, sliding their whips sideways around an oval track, drag racing and off-road bashing, these events are for you!

Holley hosted some of the coolest off-road vehicles in their off-road events during the weekend with massive jumps, off-road drifting, and an obstacle course for only the toughest vehicles around! Check out this jump below.

 (Below) During Holley’s Ford Fest this year, the burnout contest was especially exciting with one participant Solomon Lunge, completely exploding the right rear tire off his Godzilla powered Ford pick-up truck. Now that’s something you don’t see every day!

 (Below) We are proud of our customers who we met running some of our engine packages in the NMRA World Finals at the Ford Fest this year as well! Roger Miller and family ran their 585hp “7500RPM” 363ci powered Fox Body and was extremely consistent all weekend! See it run here.

(Below) We also met up with John Sr. who is running our 509HP - 347ci Small Block Ford under the hood and ripping at the drag strip in his Maverick. He got some good air under the tires on this launch, next to his son’s Blue Mustang.

(Below) We brought out our engine stand and six different combinations on display to generate interest in our Ford engine packages. The run stand featured our Ford 363ci - 530hp package which sounds great with the Hooker stainless steel headers and mufflers. The Holley throttle body feeds the aluminum intake while the Holley Terminator manages fuel delivery, using 8-direct port fuel injectors. The AFR 195 heads provide ample airflow to help this set-up generate well over 500hp on pump gas for a great street/strip motor package! Check out this video to hear it run!
