We hope you’ve been enjoying our blog detailing some of the projects we have going in the shop throughout the weeks. This week we've got the Edlebrock Pro-Flo 4 EFI system getting ready for the dyno, and the Gen III 426 Hemi is about ready to be stuffed back in the Challenger drag car. Of course our 1964 Ford Galaxie project is continuing on with custom interior and a custom air cleaner for the cowl induction system. We’ve got some cool stuff cooking this week so we hope you dig it.

Engine Shop:

Edelbrock Pro-Flo 4 EFI System on 408 Ford

We are tuning the new Edelbrock Pro-Flo 4 EFI system this week in the dyno room on a 408ci small block Ford stroker engine. Really nice setup here that features a high performance Edelbrock intake manifold with a 1,000 cfm throttle body, fuel rails and individual injectors for each cylinder. It comes with a touch screen to utilize the Edelbrock E-Tuner 4 app that is a free download. #StayTuned for an in-depth Hardcore Tech article coming soon from us with a much deeper dive into this system and how it can work best for you. Other than that...just take a look at that small block...we love it.

426 Hemi Build for Dodge Challenger

Good to see a Hemi in the shop! We’ve got this 426ci Hemi Stroker here for a 2009 Dodge Challenger that we’re doing some upgrades on. This one is topped with a Kenne Belle Mammoth Supercharger that should drag this hemi down the strip! We upgraded the pistons and camshaft in this beast before we get it back into the Challenger. This belongs to a great customer of ours, and we can’t wait to see some shots of it going down the strip again with the new powerplant.

Performance Shop:

1964 Galaxie Updates

Our Galaxie is really starting to take shape as we continue with the custom metal fabrication work inside the trunk area. There will actually be a doorway added to this to access the battery box as well as the speakers and audio equipment planned for the build. We are also custom making the airbox and in the process of laying that out with paper templates. Metalmaster Jim and our lead fabricator, LJ, have been digging hard to push forward with this build for one of our favorite customers, John. John stops by almost every Friday to check out his baby and it’s always a highlight of the week for us. Love to see him catch the updates to the car when he first arrives each week and talk out the future plans for the build.
