Martin Truex Jr Custom Jeep Build

Welcome to our custom car gallery, showcasing a truly unique one-off Jeep built for Martin Truax Junior, a top competitor in the NASCAR series. This remarkable project began as a surprise from his girlfriend, who wanted to revive a beloved Jeep that had been left to rust in eastern North Carolina. What started as a simple restoration quickly evolved into a custom masterpiece that stands out from the crowd. Beneath the striking matte finish green exterior—crafted with military-grade paint for durability and style—lies an all-aluminum body designed to resemble a CJ8 but shortened to what we affectionately call the CJ 7.5. This sleek exterior is supported by a robust TDK chassis that houses an impressive array of custom parts and high-quality components, including Fox Racing shocks. Martin opted for a modern LS engine package, entrusting us with one of our custom-built LS crate engines: a 6.0L LS converted to a 408 stroker, delivering over 530 horsepower and exceptional torque. Every detail of this Jeep was meticulously handcrafted, from the suspension and cross members to the roll cage and overhead audio console. Power is managed by a 4L60E transmission paired with an Atlas twin-stick transfer case, offering versatile four-wheel drive capabilities with options for high and low range in both front-wheel and rear-wheel drive. This Jeep combines hours of fabrication, intricate bodywork, and modern electronics, making it a versatile vehicle that can cruise the beach or conquer the toughest mountains with confidence. What began as a basic restoration has transformed into an unparalleled masterpiece, showcasing the incredible craftsmanship and dedication that went into its creation.
