408 Mopar

This 408 Mopar Small Block Stroker Crate Engine is based on the 360 Magnum Chrysler engine. It features a forged steel stroker crank that provides big-block torque in a small-block package. H-Beam rods and forged pistons complete the stout bottom end. A hydraulic roller camshaft and aluminum heads provide 470 HP worth of Mopar muscle. Everything available from short blocks, long blocks to turn-key carbureted or EFI and drop-in-ready with your pulley kit of choice. Turn-Key & Drop-In-Ready engine packages come dyno tested and every engine package is personalized for you & tailored to your ride.

Custom Gen III Stroked HEMI

This engine represents the cutting edge of modern Mopar performance. With increased cubic inches, a custom-ground camshaft, and Holley Multi-Port Fuel Injection, it delivers serious power and precision. It’s fully customizable from top to bottom—intake, oil pan, serpentine system, and even color. However, it does require more planning and modification to install, making it ideal for builders who want a high-tech, high-performance setup with a modern edge.

360-Based 408ci Small Block Mopar

The 408ci small block is all about old-school muscle and nostalgia. Based on the classic 360 platform, it delivers a raw, mechanical feel that brings back the golden era of hot rodding. It’s simpler to install, easier to tune with traditional carburetion or basic EFI, and offers that unmistakable small block rumble. While it may not match the Gen III HEMI in terms of technology or efficiency, it wins big on character, simplicity, and classic street cred.

Having approached a few local builders I quickly learned that nobody I approached offered warranty of any significance on rebuilt performance engines, but every single builder would do the work had I proceeded for a significant cost to me, all the risk being mine.

In 2011 I was looking for a local engine builder down here in Australia to rebuild my old modified 302 cu in engine. What I wanted was my original Windsor block rebuilt with all new rotating parts and the heads either changed out for Alloy or modified to seek more power. I also wanted to understand the warranty such engine builders would offer. I also wanted good horsepower and torque.

I was looking for a Ford 351W engine to fit in a GT40 replica and came across Prestige Motor Sports on the internet. My only regret is that I shipped the engine myself and it took forever; despite Doug's efforts to deal with my shipper. I should have let Prestige handle that too.
