Introducing Eric Schano’s stunning 1969 Mustang, a project that beautifully combines modern upgrades with a classic aesthetic. This Mustang arrived with fairly fresh paint and bodywork, and Eric enlisted our expertise to modernize and enhance its performance. He chose one of our powerful 427 small block Ford crate engines, delivering 575 hp, and opted for the reliability of a modern multipoint fuel injection system controlled by Holley EFI. The build features a Vintage Air front runner accessory drive system, complete with air conditioning and all necessary accessories, ensuring comfort while maintaining a compact design that accommodates the Wizard cooling system. Our ultimate turnkey package also includes a Tremec transmission and an Aeromotive fuel delivery system for optimal performance. The complete Ride Tech suspension, both front and rear, combined with Wilwood’s four-wheel disc brake system, ensures exceptional handling and stopping power. The goal was to preserve a vintage or original exterior look while modernizing the car’s running gear from front to rear. The car was fully disassembled, with the underside and engine bay refinished and rewired, while the interior retained a mostly factory appearance with updated vintage-style gauges. Enhancements included a touchscreen display for the audio system, which received significant attention to detail. This Mustang is perfect for car shows, coffee runs, or leisurely drives along the beach, offering plenty of power for excitement while remaining tame enough for everyday cruising.
