Introducing Fred Sullivan’s stunning 1969 Mustang, resplendent in a beautiful maroon red that catches the eye. As a seasoned painting and body expert, Fred brought this car to us as a roller with a vision for a complete top-to-bottom build. During our discovery process, he selected our all-aluminum 427 small block Ford stroker engine package to replace the tired 351, infusing the car with both power and flair. The engine features a polished Borla induction system controlled by a Holley EFI management system, ensuring not only performance but also a striking visual appeal. A Billet Specialties front accessory drive complements the ultimate turnkey package, while a Tremec five-speed transmission and a custom 9-inch rear end effectively harness the power. The Mustang rides beautifully and handles superbly, thanks to the Ride Tech suspension system installed both front and rear. Custom headers and a complete exhaust system with cutouts ensure that this beauty makes a statement as it approaches any car show. The build also includes a complete rewire, a Vintage Air under-dash AC system for comfort, modernized gauges from Dakota Digital, and a set of Shelby wheels that enhance its classic style. Not just a showstopper, this Mustang is a reliable vehicle you can count on for daily driving, car shows, and everything in between.

Having approached a few local builders I quickly learned that nobody I approached offered warranty of any significance on rebuilt performance engines, but every single builder would do the work had I proceeded for a significant cost to me, all the risk being mine.

In 2011 I was looking for a local engine builder down here in Australia to rebuild my old modified 302 cu in engine. What I wanted was my original Windsor block rebuilt with all new rotating parts and the heads either changed out for Alloy or modified to seek more power. I also wanted to understand the warranty such engine builders would offer. I also wanted good horsepower and torque.

I was looking for a Ford 351W engine to fit in a GT40 replica and came across Prestige Motor Sports on the internet. Doug Aitken was extremely helpful and always responded quickly to my emails and requests for information. I got what I wanted, on time, on budget and with no surprises. After my engine arrived Doug was helpful as ever when I was looking for compatible, parts, oils, etc. in the UK. My only regret is that I shipped the engine myself and it took forever; despite Doug's efforts to deal with my shipper. I should have let Prestige handle that too.
