Jim’s ‘72 Le Mans

Welcome to our custom car gallery, featuring the impressive 1972 Pontiac LeMans owned by Jim Ranney. In this project, we replaced the original Pontiac engine with a powerful small block Chevy 383 crate engine, delivering an exhilarating 420 horsepower, enhanced by Holley Performance’s multi-point fuel injection system. To maintain an appealing aesthetic, we fitted a sleek yet basic pulley and accessory system from Billet Specialties, providing both style and functionality. Jim envisioned a survivor-style series that preserved the original charm of a fully convertible Pontiac LeMans while upgrading the engine and transmission. As part of the ultimate turnkey package, this beauty received a 4L60E overdrive automatic transmission, ensuring smooth driving. To keep things cool, we included a Wizard radiator package outfitted with brushless fans, along with a complete rewire and a modern fuel delivery system from Aeromotive. With plenty of power and vintage appeal, Jim’s LeMans is the perfect cruiser for beach days and car shows alike, allowing him to drop the top and enjoy the open road in style.
