Mustapha’s ‘69 Mustang

Introducing the remarkable one-off custom build for Mustapha Galadari, a project that took an exciting turn when the client purchased a 582 cubic inch big block Chevy crate engine through our eBay listing. After reaching out to understand the vision for this powerhouse, we learned it would be housed in a stunning 1968 Mustang Fastback, complete with an Eleanor body kit. Mustapha’s ambition was to create an Eleanor replica featuring a controversial yet thrilling Chevy engine under the hood, aptly named “The Nighthawk.” We began with a brand-new Dynacorn body, outfitting it with Heidts independent rear suspension and a robust 9-inch center, along with their Pro-G front suspension. The 582 big block Chevy was meticulously set up for nitrous and expertly managed by a Holley Dominator EFI system, which controls both the nitrous and a six-speed automatic transmission with manual mode and paddle shift options. Custom-built components were essential to this build, including specially designed headers and an exhaust system that gracefully exits from the side of the body. While we handled the majority of the build, the final paint and bodywork were entrusted to specialists overseas. With an air-tight fuel delivery system, a robust custom cooling package, and numerous other enhancements, The Nighthawk is a unique blend of classic styling and modern performance, setting a new standard for custom builds.
