Steve M’s ‘66 Mustang

Presenting Steve Malloy’s impressive 1966 Mustang, a project centered around revitalizing a tired 302 engine and outdated transmission. Steve opted for our ultimate turnkey package, which seamlessly integrated with the car’s existing Detroit Speed and Engineering front suspension modifications. He chose our robust 347 cubic inch small block Ford crate engine, equipped with multi-point fuel injection and a stylish Billet Specialties front accessory drive. Complementing this powerplant is a Tremec five-speed transmission, ensuring an exhilarating driving experience. To maintain optimal engine temperatures, we installed a Wizard radiator paired with a brushless fan system, along with our Aeromotive fuel delivery system. The build also features an upgraded Ride Tech rear suspension system, harnessing power through a 9-inch rear end and four-wheel disc brakes for enhanced stopping capability. Dressed in a stunning shade of white, this survivor series Mustang not only boasts impressive power but also promises exceptional drivability, making it a true standout on the road.
