We’ve had some unique builds at Prestige that are getting a lot of attention. There’s never a substitute for big cubic inches and we definitely have a set of monsters here with a 10.9L big block Chevy and a blown 572ci hemi. Check them out in this weeks #StayTuned blog!
It’s opening morning here at PRI for our team at Prestige Motorsports and we couldn’t be more excited to be in the building. Everyone who is anyone in the motorsports and vehicle aftermarket industry is here and ready for a great few days in Indy. Our team has worked endless hours over the past few weeks preparing for this and we hope everyone likes what we have to offer this weekend.
It has been an extremely busy few weeks here at Prestige with car shows and the normal weekly grind at the shop. But can you really consider it a grind when you’re building custom engines? Everyone here obviously loves what they do and are passionate about putting out the best possible products for our customers. This is why we are extremely excited to finally announce that Prestige will have a booth at this years PRI Show in Indy!
Big week this week at Prestige with the FoxtoberFest car show taking place this Friday and Saturday. Preparing for that along with the normal weekly happenings in our performance shop and engine shop has made it a busy time for everyone. We’ve really got some big things coming down the pike and we cannot wait to share them all with you guys and gals down the road…so #staytuned :).
Summer has officially come to a close, but we’re as busy as ever digging here at Prestige. The engine shop continues to ship out some beautiful stacked injection engines, and the performance shop keeps digging on current projects and accepted a couple new vehicles in the shop as well. We also had a great time and strong presence at Holley Ford Fest last week in Bowling Green, Kentucky!
We hope you’ve been enjoying our blog detailing some of the projects we have going in the shop throughout the weeks. This week we’ve got the Edlebrock Pro-Flo 4 EFI system getting ready for the dyno, and the Gen III 426 Hemi is about ready to be stuffed back in the Challenger drag car. Of course our 1964 Ford Galaxie project is continuing on with custom interior and a custom air cleaner for the cowl induction system. We’ve got some cool stuff cooking this week so we hope you dig it.
It’s been another busy week here at Prestige Motorsports coming off the holiday weekend. It could be tough coming back to work after some extra time off, but with resto-mods and stroker engines to be completed, we got straight to it Tuesday morning. The dyno was roaring first thing with a 598 drag engine, and an old-school looking Inglese stack injected build is assembled for a local GT40. Mike’s 69 Chevelle gets a brake upgrade in the Performance Shop, and the 75 Ford is back from paint and ready for some new wheels! Check out the images and updates below. This will include any exotic builds in the engine shop, updates on our ongoing project cars in the performance shop, and any on-going research and development, something we pride ourselves in.
One of the benefits we have as a professional engine builder and performance shop is that we get to experience the same scenarios as the do-it-yourselfer. Instead of building an engine, shipping it off, and wishing our customer good luck, we can take our engine, install it in the customer’s vehicle, and experience that process and its hang-ups. Having first-hand experience allows us to pass wisdom onto other enthusiasts in order to prepare them for what may lie ahead.
