Based on the 454 Big Block Chevy, our 489 stroker offers a longer stroke which boosts torque and horsepower output to get your heavy classic out of the hole and moving quickly. When looking for a replacement Marine Engine I did my research and chose Prestige. I can't say enough about Doug and his team. They have truly made this a great experience. The process was extremely positive, customer service and detail focused. Called and emailed Doug several times and he is always very helpful. If you want it done right reach out to Doug and his team. Doug and I discussed some initial objectives, they delivered a 500+ HP 396 small block with Holley EFI. I had the Boat out for some initial testing this fall and runs very strong. Interior and flooring next. Doug was on the phone with me during initial startup, logged in remotely and we did a start up and tune at the get go. After getting things dialed in spent some time with Justin also doing some remote Holley Tuning. Exceptional and willing to help. In May 2023, I completed my first LS swap into my 66 Chevy C10. To celebrate, I registered it and attended my first Good Guys Event (7-9 Jul) held here in Columbus, Oh. After visiting many events and vendor booths I was drawn to the Prestige Motorsports (PM) booth by their engine displays. And within a few minutes of discussing my build using the Holly Terminator X Max, it was clear these guys knew their stuff. Though the closed loop = internal self-learning feature has performed well, Doug with PM recommended and performed configuration changes that made an INCREDIBLE IMPROVEMENT in idle, acceleration, and top-end performance of my engine. I highly recommend PM for LS performance tuning!

I have been having cooling issues for quite sometime now and did an internet search for it and Prestige showed up. I started with a 4 Row Champion radiator and dual Spal 11" fans and a high flow water pump and my temp would go north of 230°F. Someone local said the radiator was too thick to go to a 3 Row. I did that and it still got hot. Changed to an OEM water pump and that brought the temp down to 220's. I know that's not overheating but I want to keep it around 180. I decided to call Prestige and Doug was very knowledgeable. Long story short...I now have a Wizard Cooling 2 Row with 1.25 tubes. Back to the high flow water pump and this morning at an Idle I was at 171 and with horsing it I got up to 190. Oh by the way it's a 600hp BBC 496 in a 79 Corvette which is known for cooling issues. Thank you so much Doug.

I ordered a 347 stroker with a 4R70W transmission package about a year ago. It is for a 67 mustang that I put a TCP front clip and glink rear suspension in. It was a project but turned out great. The easiest part was the purchase from Prestige. The kit was 100% complete and the engine runs great. I had several calls with Doug getting everything running smooth and appreciated his help. Can’t speak highly enough about this group.

Prestige Motorsports has built two engines for me—a 351/427 small block and a 390FE 427 with dual carbs. Their communication, pictures and information during the build was second to none. The USB card they provide with all the engine information at the conclusion of the build is very professional and a great way to document the build process.
